Playing public is so different to composing on the piano - being on stage is so much more in touch with the audience (the people it is written for), but it is also making me very nervous and anxious …. hope it will get better in the future
Wiesbaden Singer Songwriter Contest
22.03.2019 The first time playing in public - two songs played for an audience of about 200 guests in the anglican church in Wiesbaden: „Where else do I want to be… than in your heart“, and „A new day is dawning“. Interesting experience that when the lights go out in the audience, and the introductory tunes are played, the world shrinks down to 88 friends, pedals, and creating sound out of a wonderful big pianoFrankfurt Art Bar
19.12.2019 The first time playing in an unknown environment - at a place which hosts a lot of professional musicians. Two new songs of the unpublished albums positively tested for their appeal: „Touch me gently“, and „Take me to the skies“. Very different to the big audience concert - the whole room was lit, and people still continue chatting (quietly), so really sitting in front and in touch. Needs significantly more stamina than in a church concert …
